Dr. Ester García Lorenzo is a medical oncologist with a distinguished career in research and the development of innovative cancer treatments. She is currently working as a consultant in the Fundación Jiménez Díaz, leading projects in the Early Phase Clinical Drug Development Unit specially the field of lung cancer.

A graduate in Medicine from the University of La Laguna, Dr. García Lorenzo completed her residency at Hospital La Paz in Madrid. Her extensive academic background includes several master’s degrees in key areas such as Molecular Oncology (URJC), Palliative Care (UAM), and Clinical Reasoning (University of Alcalá), along with a Fellowship at Fundación Jiménez Díaz and PHD studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Her work focuses on cutting-edge research, including the analysis of the immune microenvironment in lung cancer and studies on immunological and transcriptomic profiles in various tumors. She has contributed to numerous scientific publications in esteemed journals and participated in international conferences such as ASCO and SEOM.
