Antonio Rueda-Lara, MD, is a Medical Oncologist and Phase I Clinical Trials Fellow at START Madrid – Fundación Jiménez Díaz. He completed his medical oncology training at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid and has developed a strong clinical and research focus in early-phase drug development, precision oncology, and gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies. His research interests include novel targeted therapies, biomarker-driven clinical trials, synthetic lethality strategies, and the application of artificial intelligence, deep learning, and natural language processing to oncology. He has participated in multiple clinical and translational research projects, with work presented at international oncology meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals, and is actively involved in the clinical development of innovative anticancer therapies within the START Phase I program.
