Gala Vega M.D., is a Medical Hematologist and member of the medical team of the early phase clinical trials unit, START Madrid-FJD. She completed her medical studies at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

From 2015-2019, she completed her training as clinical Hematologist at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz de Madrid.

Afterwards she lived abroad in Tanzania and worked at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) in Moshi, Tanzania, as general hematologist in charge of both the clinical and the laboratory departments.

In September 2021 she joined the START Madrid-FJD as Clinical Fellowship and from 2022 onwards she is part of the Clinical Investigator team fully dedicated to early clinical trials and drug development in hematological malignancies.
