START San Antonio, established in 2007, stands as a cornerstone of the START Network’s pioneering early-phase clinical research endeavors. Spearheaded by the current Co-Directors of the San Antonio early phase program, Dr. Amita Patnaik and Dr. Kyriakos Papadopoulos, our research unit boasts over 13,000 square feet of dedicated space and is home to a team of 60+ clinical research professionals and the Global Shared Services team. Notably, we proudly achieved a significant milestone as the first location to enroll and administer the initial dose of Keytruda, marking a pivotal moment in our commitment to advancing cancer care through innovative research.
