
Ramon Yarza, MD, MBI, MSc

Dr. Ramon Yarza is a Medical Oncologist specializing in gynecologic tumors with expertise in early-phase clinical trials and oncology drug development. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Navarra and completed his specialty training at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid. He further specialized in early-phase clinical trials through a fellowship in Drug Development and Phase 1 Trials at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
In addition to his clinical background, he has experience in biostatistics and bioinformatics, which he applies to clinical trial design, data modeling, and biomarker-driven strategies in translational research. As an active member of the EORTC Y-ECI GCG, he collaborates in gynecologic cancer research and has participated in multiple workshops on clinical trial design and development, including the MCCR Workshop and ENGOT GCA Workshop.
His work focuses on clinical trial strategy, biomarker-driven development, and translational research, particularly in the context of early-phase drug development and gynaecologic tumors.
