Dr. David Rich is a board-certified urologist specializing in urologic surgery with expertise in complex kidney stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and kidney cancer. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in 2006 before obtaining his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2013. Dr. Rich then completed his urology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2018, where he developed advanced skills in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques.

Currently practicing at Atlantic Urology Clinics and START Carolinas in Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Rich is dedicated to providing comprehensive urologic care with a focus on innovative treatments. He has a special interest in advanced kidney stone management, including “tubeless” percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), mini-PCNL, and Endoscopic Combined Intra-Renal Surgery (ECIRS). Additionally, he is experienced in perineal prostate biopsy techniques and male urinary incontinence treatment.
