Prior to START, Peter served as Chief Operating Officer at AES (Accelerated Enrollment Solutions), a business unit of PPD (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific), where he led one of the world’s largest site networks with over 150 research locations across the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has also held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Owens & Minor, Patheon, Biocryst Pharmaceuticals, Merck Serono, and Deloitte Consulting. Throughout his career, Peter has demonstrated a unique ability to prepare service delivery organizations for the future, lead high-performing teams, and drive measurable outcomes.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. His passion for patient care extends beyond his professional role, volunteering as an Angel Flight pilot, providing free transportation for individuals facing financial or geographical barriers to accessing medical care.
