About Kathryn

Kathryn Britton is the Vice President of Quality Assurance at The START Center for Cancer Research, bringing over 15 years of quality assurance, early phase oncology operations and clinical research education experience. She is a seasoned leader, who drives excellence and innovation in quality assurance initiatives across the global organization. Kathryn is passionate about building high-performing teams and is adept at developing and implementing robust quality assurance programs that ensure consistent and reliable performance. Kathryn is committed to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement, empowering employees to take ownership of their work and deliver outstanding results; thereby elevating the patient’s experience. 

Prior to joining START, Kathryn held leadership roles at Sarah Cannon Research Institute in Nashville, Tennessee and Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Her expertise spans quality assurance, research operations, regulatory compliance, and research training programs.
 
Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Central Methodist University and earned her Master of Arts degree from University of the Cumberlands.
