Dr. Jessica Swaim is a urologic surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery, stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and urologic oncology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University in 2013, followed by a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in chronic disease epidemiology from Yale School of Public Health in 2015. She then obtained her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2019, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Swaim completed her urologic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2024 and is board eligible through the American Board of Urology.
Currently practicing at Atlantic Urology Clinics and START Carolinas in Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Swaim is committed to advancing patient care through innovative surgical techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches. She has a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures for urologic cancers, complex voiding dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, and kidney stone disease. Dr. Swaim has contributed extensively to urologic research, with publications in esteemed journals covering topics such as robotic surgery outcomes, post-operative complications, and the evolving role of telehealth in urology. Her dedication to both clinical excellence and research makes her a valuable asset in the field of urologic surgery.
