About Emmanuel

Emmanuel (Manu) Olart, MSc, serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at The START Center for Cancer Research, leveraging over two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of Clinical Research and Technology.

With a solid track record of leading global software engineering and IT teams, Manu integrates influential leadership with effective decision-making to execute business-aligned technology strategies and plans that drive growth. His expertise lies in developing and implementing innovative technical solutions, from SaaS applications to data-enabled platforms, to support critical business operations.

Before joining START, Manu held the position of Chief Technology Officer at WCG Clinical, where he spearheaded the technology strategy across the company’s portfolio of businesses. Prior to that, he served as the head of Technology for the Medical Imaging division of BioClinica, now a part of Clario, where he designed and implemented the technology platform supporting Imaging Core Lab activities.

Manu is an Engineer and earned a Master of Science degree in computer science engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon, France.
