About Ryan

Ryan has over 22 years building science led sales teams selling industry leading solutions to pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. Most recently, Ryan, as a member of the executive team, led the global sales organization at Cryoport, the leading supply chain provider to companies developing cell & gene therapies. During his tenure at Cryoport, Ryan oversaw the growth of clinical trials supported from 200 to over 650 with many of those trials in Phase I. In addition, Cryoport’s support of commercial approved products grew during that time from two to 12 with many of those therapies focused on oncology.

Prior to Cryoport, Ryan led the sales organization at Certara, the leading provider of Biosimulation (pre-clinical and clinical) and Regulatory Writing solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. These solutions helped companies make informed decisions at every step of the drug development process. During Ryan’s time at Certara, the company worked on over 90% of the drugs approved by the FDA. Ryan was responsible for managing the relationship between Certara and the FDA’s, EMA’s, SFDA’s, and PMDA’s use of Certara industry leading modeling software package WinNonLin.

Throughout his career, Ryan has demonstrated the ability to build and manage high performing global teams. His time in sales leadership includes a three-year run in the UK and two years in Hong Kong. This experience has helped nurture his understanding and appreciation of working in a global environment.
