Dr. Martin was graduated as Medical Doctor in 2014 in University of Salamanca, Spain, and he completed his training as a Medical Oncologist at University Hospital Ramón y Cajal in Madrid, Spain, in 2020. During this time, he carried out research stays in the Department of Immunology and Histocompatibility of University of Thessaly (Larisa, Greece) in July 2012 and also in Melanoma Unit and Phase I Clinical Trial Unit in Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA, USA) between January and March 2020.

Once completing his training, Dr Martin has worked as a medical oncologist in the melanoma and skin tumors area in the Medical Oncology Department in Hospital Clinic in Barcelona, Spain, between June 2020 and June 2024. During his final year, he also focused on managing patients with lung and head and neck cancers. Likewise, he has extensive experience in clinical research and he has been involved in more than 40 clinical trials, including early phase to phase III.

During this period, Dr. Martin has increased his training in cancer immunotherapy, statistics and study design. Furthermore, he has been teacher collaborator of Bacherlor’s Degree in Medicine in Faculty of Medicine (since 2022) and teacher collaborator of Chair on Innovation in Precision Oncology course (since 2021), both in University of Barcelona.

Dr. Martin is a member of multiple national and international scientific societies.
